Stephen Harris, Attorney at Meyer Njus Tanick

Overview

Steve was initially drawn to the law based on his childhood admiration of Abraham Lincoln, who used charm and great wit to successfully win cases.  As an accomplished litigator, Steve strives to emulate his childhood idol in the courtroom.  He believes success comes from tireless preparation.

Prior to joining Meyer Njus Tanick, Steve passed the C.P.A. examination and worked as an  internal auditor in the banking and loan industry where he audited financial statements and internal processes. This experience serves him well during the discovery stage of litigation as it allows him to cut through the complexity of a case to focus on the key evidence that will help the firm’s clients obtain the best results possible.

After graduating at the top of his class from William Mitchell College of Law, Steve clerked for the Honorable Lawrence Collins of the Minnesota District Court in Winona County.

In his spare time, Steve enjoys traveling,  hiking, biking, and gardening.  He also loves to throw the ball with his kids and watch well-made movies.
