Overview
Diane joined Meyer Njus Tanick in 2005 after beginning her career at True Value Corporation, where she was Assistant General Counsel and Corporate Secretary during her 10 years with the company. Diane has enjoyed a wide range of experiences, including managing a large class action lawsuit which was successfully defeated, negotiating hundreds of contracts, and registering and protecting tens of dozens of highly recognized trademarks throughout the United States and worldwide. Diane’s primary focus is on debt collection. Due to her experience and her compassion, she is able to negotiate settlements while in court with a positive attitude, making any defendant feel comfortable with the process.
Diane also serves as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association, FINRA, and Lake and Cook Counties.
In her spare time, Diane makes and sells clocks and other gift items. Spare time is limited, however, as Diane is a grandmother of 7. A great deal of time is spent assisting to care for and love each of her grandchildren. To maintain her ability to keep up with all she does, Diane goes to Jazzercise, where her daughter is the instructor, and also runs half marathons whenever she can.
